Today’s Prompt

Write an American Cinquain (or series of cinquains) at the nexus of Cosmos, Words, and Absence.

The American Cinquain demands concision: only 22 syllables to express something full and true. Here's Adelaide Crapsey at her best, to show you what this could look like:

These be
three silent things:
The falling snow . . . the hour
